Coaches Information:

All coaches must have a current back ground check done by the county. You can access the form on the county web site. The back ground check must be completed and processed by the county before you can be on the field with your players. All back ground checks are good for three years. If you are unsure of your status, you can go to the county’s link to the Active Database to get your status
ALL HEAD COACHES must have a current Youth Coaches Certification. If you are not currently certified by Anne Arundel County, you must attend the coaches certification clinic. This year’s clinic will be on March 5th at Old Mill High School. Registration begins at 6:00 and the clinic begins at 6:30.
Annaplax is offering their coaches clinic on Saturday, February 28th at Severn School. Start time to be announced soon.
SMA will once again hold in-house coaches clinics for all SMA coaches. Dates for each divisions clinic will be announced soon.
MANDATORY Coaches meeting for all Pee Wee, Middie and Jr coaches will be held on February 9th, 7:00 at St. Mary’s High School.
March 7th: Mandatory SMA In-House Coaches Clinic. 9-11 at Germantown Field. This clinic is for Pee Wee, Middie & Jr. Level coaches only.
March 21st: Anne Arundel County MANDATORY Sticklette Coaches Clinic. 9-11. Location to be announced soon by the County.
