REGISTRATION DETAILS
Registration Details
- Online Registration is OPEN from Tuesday, April 15th and will CLOSE Sunday, July 20th
- Roster limits per team will be 22 players. If more than 22 players register for a team, they will be placed on a wait list until that team reaches 34 players or more. Registering without paying the registration fee does not guarantee you a roster spot. Your child is not registered unless the registration fee is paid.
Registration Fees
- The Registration Fee is $225.00
- After Sunday, July 20th, there will be a $25.00 Late Fee
Registration Refund Policy
- Refunds Prior to Equipment Handouts will be $200.00
- Refunds After Equipment Handouts will be $150.00
- THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER THURSDAY, JULY 31ST

Equipment Handout Dates and Times
- 12U thru 14U Players - Tuesday, July 22nd 6:00pm - 7:30pm (TENTATIVE DATE)
- 7U thru 11U Players - Wednesday, July 23rd 6:00pm - 7:30pm (TENTATIVE DATE)
- If you are unable to attend either one of the equipment handout dates, your child MUST receive their equipment from 5:30-6:00 PM before the first practice.
Items That You Need to Bring to Equipment Handouts
- In order to receive your equipment at equipment handouts you MUST bring the following items:
- A Deposit Check OR Money Order in the amount of $150.00 made out to CSCRC and POST DATED for December 1st, 2025
- A COPY of your Childs Birth Certificate. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE
- YOUR CHILD
- WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CASH FOR EQUIPMENT DEPOSITS
- If you DO NOT bring the above items or if the deposit is not POST DATED for December 1st, 2025 you WILL NOT receive your equipment
- The deposit check will be returned to you at the end of the season during equipment returns

Game Jerseys and Game Pants
GAME JERSEYS AND GAME PANTS
Game Jerseys
- Game Jerseys are order specifically for your child with their last name on the back and sized specifically for them.
- Each player will receive 2 jerseys.
- Jersey numbers are handed out to each player. Returning players will keep their jersey number from previous seasons unless the parents specifically ask for it to be changed.
- New players will then have the opportunity to pick from the remaining jerseys number on that team.
- Game Jerseys are intended to be very tight.
- Once the game jerseys are orderd, there are NO exchanges.
- GAME JERSEYS ARE YOURS TO KEEP
Game Pants
- Game Pants are kept in the equipment shed and will be handed out once the Game Jerseys arrive.
- Coaches will gather each players practice pants sizes and will be given game pants based on those sizes.
- If anyone needs to exchange the game pants for a different size, please come to the equipment shed for the exchange.
- GAME PANTS ARE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE SEASON
Game Jerseys and Game Pants will be handed out at a later date before games begin.
Mandatory County Weigh-Ins and Photo ID's
MANDATORY COUNTY WEIGH-INS AND PHOTO ID'S
What Is It?
AA County Recs and Parks holds 3 Weigh-Ins and Photo ID dates. It is MANDATORY for ALL coaches and players to attend at least 1 of these Weigh-Ins and Photo ID's. (This is NOT a team photo or individual photo for you to have)
- All players MUST attend either the 1st OR 2nd Weigh-In/Photo ID date in order to be eligible to play in the first 2 games of the season.
- Players are to wear a t-shirt, shorts and footwear. NO EQUIPMENT.
- The 3rd Weigh-In/Photo ID date is solely a last ditch effort for your child.
- Regardless of your summer plans or vacations, you MUST make it a priority to attend either the 1st or 2nd Weigh-In/Photo ID dates.
- Any player that weighs-in at or does not make weight until the third weigh-in MUST sit out the first two games of the season.
- Any player that does not attend any of the Weigh-Ins/Photo ID dates is INELIGIBLE to play for the entire season and will NOT receive a refund.

Player Team Placement
PLAYER TEAM PLACEMENT
All teams have a 15 player minimum. If any team has over 30 players, that team will be split into 2 teams. The 1st team will be selected by the Head Coach based on tryouts and will play in a higher skilled league. The 2nd team will consist of the remaining players and will play in a lower skilled league.
14U (Varsity U) - Unlimited Weight with NO Restrictions
- Team is made up of players between the ages of 12-14 years old
- Any player turning 14 years old, but not yet in high school is eligible to play on this team
- Players MUST turn 12 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible to play on this team
- 11 year old players will NOT be allowed to play in the 14U division
- Any player turning 15 before November 30, 2025 is NOT eligible to play on this team
- Every player will play a minimum of 5 plays per game
- 9TH GRADERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PLAY ON THIS TEAM REGARDLESS OF AGE
12U - Unlimited Weight with NO Restrictions
- Team is made up of players aged 12 years old and under
- Players MUST turn 10 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible to play on this team
- Any player turning 13 years old before September 1, 2025 is NOT eligible to play on this team
- Every player will play a minimum of 5 plays per game
11U - Unlimited Weight with NO Restrictions
- Team is made up of players aged 11 years old and under
- Players MUST turn 9 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible to play on this team
- Any player turning 12 years old before September 1, 2025 is NOT eligible to play on this team
- Every player will play a minimum of 5 plays per game
10U - Unlimited Weight with NO Restrictions
- Team is made up of players aged 10 years old and under
- Players MUST turn 8 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible to play on this team
- Any player turning 11 years old before September 1, 2025 is NOT eligible to play on this team
- Every player will play a minimum of 5 plays per game
9U - Unlimited Weight WITH Restrictions
- Team is made up of players aged 9 years old and under
- Players MUST turn 7 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible to play on this team
- Any player turning 10 years old before September 1, 2025 is NOT eligible to play on the team
- Maximum weight for any player that wants to play a position other than the line is 100.9lbs
- If a player weighs over 100.9lbs they will be designated as "Tackle-to-Tackle" and MUST play on the line
- Players will be allowed to gain 5lbs during the course of the season and will receive an additional 5lbs during playoffs
- Every player will play a minimum of 10 plays per game
8U - Unlimited Weight WITH Restrictions
- Team is made up of players aged 8 years old and under
- Players MUST turn 6 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible to play on this team
- Any player turning 9 years old before September 1, 2025 is NOT eligible to play on the team
- Maximum weight for any player that wants to play a position other than the line is 90.9lbs
- If a player weighs over 90.9lbs they will be designated as "Tackle-to-Tackle" and MUST play on the line
- Players will be allowed to gain 5lbs during the course of the season and will receive an additional 5lbs during playoffs
- Every player will play a minimum of 10 plays per game
7U - Unlimited Weight WITH Restrictions
- Team is made up of players aged 7 years old and under
- Players MUST turn 6 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible to play on this team
- Any player turning 8 years old before September 1, 2025 is NOT eligible to play on the team
- Maximum weight for any player that wants to play a position other than the line is 80.9lbs
- If a player weighs over 80.9lbs they will be designated as "Tackle-to-Tackle" and MUST play on the line
- Players will be allowed to gain 5lbs during the course of the season and will receive an additional 5lbs during playoffs
- Every player will play a minimum of 10 plays per game

CAPE FOOTBALL FAQ'S
Where and When are Practices?
- All practices are held at Bay Head Park, 1661 Bay Head Rd Annapolis MD.
- The practice schedule is determined by each individual coach.
- Once practice begins, each team in eligible to practice 4 nights a week (Monday thru Thursday) for 2 hours each night.
- Once school begins, each team is only allowed to practice 3 nights a week (Monday thru Thursday) for 2 hours each night.
Where and When are Games Played?
- Majority of the games are scheduled for the weekend although there could be an occasional weeknight game.
- Home games are at Bay Head Park while the away games can be located anywhere throughout Anne Arundel County.
Can I drop off my kids and pick up later?
- Yes, but please know when practice ends so you are back in time to pick up your child. We don't want your child standing around in the dark.
- In the event of possible inclement weather, please don't leave. Practice could end suddenly, and we don't want your child left to wait for a ride home.
Can we transfer to Cape from another Organization?
- Yes. If you are coming from another AACO football Org, you are required to have a release form from Rec and Parks.
- Forms can be found at www.aacounty.org/recparks and must be filled out and faxed in, ATTENTION VICTOR MICKAL, for the release to be granted.
Can we get a refund for football if we don't like it?
- Yes, you can get a refund before the posted date for refunds (Please see the above Registration Details)
